Heat.

Insomnia… It’s not a condition that I have but I am experiencing the symptoms. It’s the dog days. The night is still and hot. I can’t sleep.

I know that I promised 5 songs on Friday, but here they are.

1. Open Arms- Journey
I heard this for the first time in a long time while on the way back from North Carolina. I know it’s journey but seriously Steve Perry ,hero of the bros, is not bad.

2. Mr. Sincere- Raekwon
“kamikaze yankee thank me” It’s enough for the sample that’s used.

3. Saturday Morning- Real Estate.
It was raining last Sunday, and this was the perfect sound track for coffee and quite. I don’t think there is anything as therapeutic as the sound of rain and this song. Try it next time it rains.

4.Little Brother – Grizzle Bear.
So good. I think yellow house is still my favorite album. For some reason this song always reminds me of this the oath of the Oath of the Horatii painted by David.



5. Pap Smear – Crystal Castles.
The track is amazing. It’s like listening to a sequin dress.
