Yah, well... wow.

Ok, so i haven't been here in awhile. And for those who care here is the update.

I have been living in Blacksburg for the summer, and interning at WSLS (news channel 10. 10 on you're side.) That has been interesting. It's unpaid which is bummer, but experience is experience so hopefully this will pay off in the future. So far it’s been good. I feel like I’ve learned a lot, and thankfully it's almost over. To be honest time has flown by.

I've been back to Alexandria, once accompanied by a lovely companion by the name of Foster. He's my cat, and he's pretty cool. I don't think he can see well which leads to his uncharacteristic feline clumsiness... which is both sad, and comical. Krusty the klown had it right... comedy is only funny when it happens to someone with dignity. Which all cats have in spades, so needless to say seeing him jump and misjudge is a little but funny.

I went and saw sonic youth a week or so ago. It was a great show! I think that i finally have something that beats the surprisingly awesome Built to Spill show that Paul and I went too. It was like going from reading Shakespeare too going to the globe and seeing a production. It was incredible... but something that i don't feel is interesting enough to dwell on. I think Shakespeare is the best author of all time... and any comparison is meaningful.

I took one summer class, and got an A, now I’m learning how to direct, and writing news casts. It's good. I work mainly with the Fox producer, Rachel, and she is awesome. Her and I write really similarly so we get along great. I whish that i would have spent more time writing, because that's become something that i think I’ll be good at. It's local news so nothing revolutionary, but it's nice to be around people who think that SW.VA is a little strange as well. During a Shaq press conference highlight, the sports guy, appy, had to bleep damn. i asked him why and he said " you have to remember where we are." it was funny. He thought that it was ridiculous as well.

The end of school was all right, didn't do as well as i hoped, but nothing is perfect. Just try again this fall. Crew is over? i mean i think it is, but apparently I’m coaching... still haven't made up my mind about that.

So that's about it.
